Ask For Help

Ask For Help

We're living in trying times. Times are hard. That's a no brainer.
We're all in the rut . Each and everyone of us.
What area of our existence is not hard hit. Most likely, Faith.

The economy is in shambles. Inflation is at an all time high. We are all adversely affected.
Money is inshort supply. It evaporates at an unimaginable rate.
The pressure is real and great.
Remember the movie "The Rich Also Cry"? You are not alone!
It's easy to be overwhelmed and dejected by these circumstances.
Does being sad and keeping to yourself make the situation any better? If no, ask for please help!

At this time, we need something now more than ever...Someone to open up to. A shoulder to cry on.
Unfortunately, our understanding of a shoulder to cry on is usually flawed.
It's a shoulder to cry on and nothing more. It will not take the hurt away, or stop what made us cry, it is only to give us an opportunity to pour out our heart to a listening pair of ears.
The shoulder might not be able to totally solve your problems, that's perfectly okay.
The owner of the shoulder has issues they are contending with  too.
There is a possibility of linking you up with someone else who can.

The greatest disservice we can do to ourself is to go into denial state and be covered with the useless cloak of shame.
We all need help. Help will not come until we ask. That is not begging, it is asking.
You are not losing anything or  self respect by asking.

Do you have one or more people you open up to? Do you have one or more people you are REAL with?
When last did you ask for help instead of sulking? When last did you receive the required help? How many times did you talk yourself out of asking because you felt you will be denied?
Why do you think you will be denied?
Get down from your imaginary high horse and ask. The worst that can happen is to get a NO for an answer. Accept it with an open mind.

You will equally get those who are willing and will gladly help. Don't be surprised that someone who couldn't help now, might ask you down the line when he/she is now in a position to assist.
Will you have the open mindedness I mentioned earlier to accept the assistance now?
Has the problem been totally solved to a point where you don't need anymore assistance?
The main thing to note is that you were important enough to have been on the mind of another person.
Most of the time, we are our own stumbling block. Ther's no harm in asking.

Even the Holy Book says...Ask, and...
Do just that.
